Sound Damping Materials

Damping Compound
Damping Compound ImageSound Damping Compound is a water based damping compound for the treatment of vibrating metal, wood, glass, ceramic and most plastic surfaces. This material imparts vibration damping and a shift in the dominant frequency. The resulting structure borne noise reduction provides a means of improving the noise transmission loss in many applications.

This highly effective damping compound may be painted to make it suitable for outdoor as well as indoor usage. This is a non-hazardous, non-toxic compound that can be troweled, brushed or sprayed onto surfaces. Typical applications include ducts, pipes, metal roof panels, ships and boats, OEM applications, chutes, hoppers and more.
