These
sound enclosures are custom designed metal, modular industrial
enclosures. These metal sound enclosures are designed to meet

ventilation systems and more. The Metal Industrial Sound
Enclosures are designed to keep sound inside to ensure maximum
acoustical efficiency for the comfort of plant personnel.
Acoustical
enclosures include sound and noise control enclosures of all
kinds. What is generally being accomplished is preventing or
reducing the noise being generated in one area from spreading or
being heard in another area. The Acousti-Curtain curtain or
sound blanket sound enclosures and metal industrial enclosures
are engineered with the goal of achieving noise reduction in
industrial settings, such as machinery and generator enclosures.
The sound stopper S-65 walls are used primarily as noise
barriers, but can also be used as generator sound attenuation
enclosures. The audiometric screening booths are used in hearing
conversation programs.

The control of noise in industry is very important. There have been sharp
increases in worker compensation claims for hearing damage, and legislative,
safety and economic requirements make a noise reduction program essential
for many industries.
To meet these requirements and to help solve many in-plant noise
problems, ArtUSA Noise Control manufactures a complete line of acoustical
panels which can be quickly and easily assembled to provide complete or
partial enclosures for noisy equipment or to provide a quiet office in a
manufacturing area. These panels are designed to provide optimum noise
control through sound absorption and sound transmission loss. Enclosures can
be sized to meet your requirements.
Standard S-25, S-45, and S-65 panels are fabricated with outer skins of
18 gauge galvanized steel and inner skins of 22 gauge perforated galvanized
steel. Panels are stiffened with 18 gauge steel channels. Sound absorption
is provided by 2.5 to 6 pcf fiberglass or mineral wool depending on the
application. Standard panels are nominally 2" or 4" thick, but optional 1"
and 6" panels are available to meet special requirements. 2" panels are
rated at STC 37 and NRC .95, 4" panels are rated at STC 40 and NRC 1.00.
Enclosures can be designed with doors, windows, access panels and
removable panels. Doors are equipped with heavy-duty hardware and with seals
to prevent noise leakage. Window panels are framed and sealed units
utilizing 1/4" safety and/or wire reinforced glass. If constant access to
the equipment is needed, removable panels can be incorporated in the
enclosure design.
HVAC Installations
The control of noise in modern buildings due to air-conditioning is a
normal procedure in most projects. Kinetics designs and manufactures a
complete line of pressure enclosures for Heating, Ventilating and
Air-Conditioning installations. Our panel enclosures are designed to be
erected in the field. They are designed to provide thermal and optimum noise
control through sound absorption and sound transmission loss.
Industrial Installations

The AMP component system of 100mm (4") thick sound rated panels and
accessories allows a degree of construction freedom not possible with
conventional acoustic panel systems. With ArtUSA Modular Panels, the
plant engineer, safety director, OEM manufacturer, architect, or
maintenance supervisor can obtain the exact sound controlling structure
necessary for each specific situation.
Readily adaptable to changing needs
The AMP system is truly modular. The several basic elements of the
system - standard panels, window panels, and door panels - are removable
and interchangeable. Sliding doors can also be incorporated into an AMP
structure.
AMP walls/enclosures can be expanded without loss of acoustic
integrity, by the simple addition of more panels... And, since the
panels can be disassembled, walls/enclosures can be re-erected in
different locations using the component parts.
Convenient and quick to install
No special equipment or tools are required to set up an AMP
sound-control structure. "C" batten connectors secure adjacent panels to
each other. The panel and corner connection insure a tight acoustic fit
without requiring caulking-a labor and time saving method.
The standard 100mm (4") S-65 Series Panels are offered up to 3658mm
(12'). For many applications, structures of up to 7.5m+ (24'+) in height
can be constructed without additional supports.
Excellent Acoustic control for noisy areas
Both transmission loss and sound absorption are optimized with AMPs.
Panels are constructed with a solid face on one side, a perforated
absorptive face on the other, and an incombustible acoustic fill for
additional sound isolation. There are no problems of long-term
maintenance of the panels outstanding acoustic performance. Even
dismantling and reassembling AMPs does not degrade their performance. |
