ArtUSA Acousti-Classic™ and Acousti-Junior™ Panels feature a modified anechoic wedge design for cost-effective, yet impressive sound control. The unique geometric shape of the surface pattern on these panels provides optimum deflection of sound waves, making them an excellent choice for recording and broadcast studios. These versatile panels can also be used in listening rooms, restaurants, production areas and other locations where sound absorption is critically important. Panels offer excellent acoustical control across all frequencies with Noise Reduction Coefficients (NRCs) ranging from 0.75 to 0.80. ArtUSA Acousti-Classic™ and Acousti-Junior™ Panels are available in either natural or painted willtec® as well as colortec™, a process through which the entire thickness of the foam panel is dyed a deep charcoal color. These panels are especially appropriate for rooms with dark décor. Regardless of the finish option, ArtUSA Industries’ willtec® foam is Class 1 fire-rated according to ASTM E 84 for flame spread and smoke density. Willtec natural and colortec meet the corner burn test UL 1715. These panels can easily be mounted to any wall or ceiling surface with AcouSTIC™ water-based adhesive.

Make sure both the panels, and the surface to which the panels are being applied, are free of dust and dirt. If adhering to ametal surface, use a de-greaser.
Apply a line of adhesive around the perimeter of the panel approximately 1” from the edge.
Apply a line of adhesive from opposite corners through the center of the panel, creating an “X”.
Press panel into place and hold for 5 seconds. Then pull panel away to allow adhesive to become tacky. Lastly, press the panelback into position and hold again for 5 seconds.
Wear clean cotton/canvas gloves for installation.
Use a sharp razor or fixed-blade knife and a metal straight edge to cut panels. For best results, cut panels on flat side.
Overhead installations may require additional adhesive and mechanical support to ensure a strong enough bond.
